2 Malayali students killed in road accident in Karnataka; one injured

Kochi: Two Malayali nursing students lost their lives after a bus collided with their bike in Karnataka.

The accident happened in Chitradurga late last night. The deceased have been identified as Yaseen and Althaf, both hailing from Anchal in Kollam. They were first-year students at SJM Nursing College in Chitradurga.

According to reports, another student who was with them at the time of the accident is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The accident happened while they were returning after having dinner. Their bike reportedly collided with the bus near JCR Extension, Chitradurga. The local police have informed that the bodies of both victims will be handed over to their families after the postmortem procedures.
