Kerala introduces 'Sampoorna Plus' app for parents to track child's academic progress

Thiruvananthapuram: Parents in Kerala can now easily monitor the academic progress of their children studying in 12,943 state-run schools through the 'Sampoorna Plus' Mobile App. This app, developed by the Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), enables parents to track their child’s academic performance, attendance, and extracurricular activities remotely.
With a reach of 36 lakh students across the state, the Sampoorna Plus App is designed to improve communication between parents and schools, offering a user-friendly platform for accessing student reports. K. Anvar Sadath, CEO of KITE, emphasized that the app includes essential cybersecurity measures to ensure safety while enabling parents to actively engage in their children's education.
The app is available for free download on the Google Play Store and requires parents to log in using their mobile numbers registered during their child’s school admission. Once logged in, parents can access only their child's detailed profiles, including school messages, attendance records, and mark lists. The app also facilitates direct communication between parents and teachers.
This initiative is part of the government's broader efforts to enhance the Sampoorna online management system in all state schools.
