Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan wishes people on Sri Krishna Jayanthi

Thiruvananthapuram: On Monday, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan extended his greetings to the public for Sri Krishna Jayanthi, a festival that celebrates the timeless values of love, trust, and the victory of good over evil. In a Facebook post, the Chief Minister highlighted how Lord Krishna is cherished by devotees for His qualities of love and care, referring to Him as Leela Krishna.

"As we celebrate Sri Krishna Jayanthi this year, may the festivities inspire us to stand strong against evil and fortify our trust and faith in the goodness of humanity. Warm wishes to all on this auspicious occasion of Sri Krishna Jayanthi," CM said.

Throughout Kerala, temples have seen a significant increase in visitors as special poojas were held to celebrate the occasion. Colourful processions, known as 'Maha Shobha Yatras,' are being organised by Balagokulam in cities, towns, and villages across the state. These processions feature children dressed as Lord Krishna and Gopikas, joining their parents and other devotees in vibrant displays of devotion.
