Kanthapuram A. P. Sunni faction criticises Jamaat-e-Islami’s alliance with UDF

Kozhikode: The Jamaat-e-Islami has come out with a political party to see if they can move to the holy land by stepping on the back of United Democratic Front, said Kanthapuram A. P. Sunni faction.
The Kanthapuram A. P. Sunni faction levelled sharp criticism against the alliance between UDF and Welfare Party in the article titled ‘Jamaat-e and UDF’ written by Maliyekkal Sulaiman Saqafi and published in Siraj Daily.
Establishing the holy land is a complicated process. Democracy and secularism are essential to establish the holy land. It is with this aim that they have created a political party and are now entering an alliance with UDF, the article said.
Even to this day, the Jamaat-e follows dangerous beliefs that democracy, secularism, election, government, jobs, Indian Constitution and Indian court etc must be excluded, the article stated.
Jamaat-e continues to publish and propagate party literature which follows these beliefs. They make a living out of selling violence and riots in India. Neither colonialism, nor Jamaat-e or Hindutva exist in a peaceful setting, the article said.
Jamaat-e-Islami proposes that in the absence of an administration, the sovereign authority of God on earth will be lost and that it is the duty of Jamaat-e-Islami to strive to restore it. The Islamic world does not approve of this faction (Jamaat-e-Islami) and their beliefs are not in accordance with Islamic texts, the article said.
Alliance with Jamaat-e-Islami will pollute the Muslim League. It would be better if both the Muslim League and the UDF are able to realise it, the article pointed out.
