Easterly wave: Kerala to get light to moderate rainfall till January 2

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall across  Kerala till January 2.

The rainfall is triggered by an easterly wave, IMD said.

Winds ranging from 40km/hr to 55 km/hr are expected at Kanyakumari, adjacent Gulf of Mannar regions, Southern coast of Tamil Nadu, and Maldives on December 30, December 31, and January 1.
