Railway Updates: Chennai–Thiruvananthapuram Mail to arrive 15-20 minutes early from today

Thiruvananthapuram: The schedule for the Chennai Central–Thiruvananthapuram Mail (12623) has been revised, resulting in it arriving 15 minutes earlier than before. The change has been brought into effect from Monday, 15 July 2024. The train will depart 15 minutes early from Chennai Central, with adjusted arrival times at all stops.
Previously, the train departed from Chennai Central at 7:45 p.m but the revised timing suggests that it will now leave at 7:30 p.m. As a result of this timing change, the train will reach all intermediate stations 15 to 20 minutes earlier than the previous schedule.
Here are the new arrival times for key stations:
The train will reach Palakkad at 3:37 am which previously arrived at 3:52 a.m. The train is set to reach Thrissur by 4:40 which initially entered the station at 5:00 a.m. Similarly, it will enter Ernakulam Town at 6:20 a.m, Kottayam at 7:40 a.m. and Kollam station at 9:45 a.m.
Passengers are advised to take note of these new timings to adjust their travel plans accordingly.
