'Made me sign settlement papers', FIR against AMMA's Lakshmipriya, husband and woman cop

The Hill Palace Police in Ernakulam has registered an FIR against three people, including Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) vice president Lakshmipriya and a woman sub-inspector, following a complaint filed by actor Ansiba Hassan.
The case was registered after the Tripunithura Judicial First Class Magistrate Court directed the police to do so.
According to the FIR, Hassan was asked to wait at the police station for around 30 minutes before she was questioned for nearly an hour about her complaint.
The actor has also alleged that the woman sub-inspector threatened to file a criminal case against her.
The FIR further claims that Lakshmipriya came to the police station during the incident, questioned Hassan, and called her husband, who has been named as the second accused in the case. Hassan has alleged that she was pressured to apologise to him.
The complaint also states that Hassan was made to sign a document stating that the matter had been settled amicably between the parties.
However, she has alleged that the document was later used against her, affecting her reputation. The FIR claims this damaged the image of Hassan, who is also a well-known actor in the Tamil film industry.
Based on her complaint, the police have registered the FIR under several sections related to wrongful confinement, intimidation, preparing false documents, forgery, conspiracy, and misuse of official powers, along with provisions of the Kerala Police Act.
Last week, another court in Ernakulam had also directed the Kadavanthra Police to register an FIR on a separate complaint by Ansiba Hassan against actor Tini Tom, in which she alleged that he abused her using words such as 'Jihadi'.
