Tiny Tom gets relief as police say no FIR can be registered on Ansiba's complaint

Actor Ansiba's complaint against fellow actor Tiny Tom has suffered a setback, as the police have concluded that no criminal case can be registered against him.
Kadavanthra Police submitted a report to the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) after conducting a preliminary inquiry into the complaint, which had been forwarded by the City Police Commissioner.

According to the police, the allegations made by Ansiba do not have sufficient legal evidence to warrant criminal proceedings. The complaint accused Tiny Tom of making derogatory remarks against her, prompting the police to record statements from both actors as part of the inquiry.
The police report states that the complaint is based largely on hearsay and that no concrete evidence or verifiable material has been found to substantiate the allegation of personal defamation. On this basis, the police informed the ACP that a case cannot be registered against the actor.

Meanwhile, Ansiba has also approached the court seeking action against Tiny Tom. The court had directed the police to submit a report in the matter, and the case is scheduled to come up for hearing on Saturday. Since the police have not yet filed their report before the court, Ansiba's counsel is expected to seek further directions regarding the investigation.
