Alappuzha: Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam on Thursday revealed its stand on the Ram Temple consecration ceremony.

According to the social media post of SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan, the ceremony is a spiritual moment that would lift the pride of every Indian. He has also urged all to commemorate the moment by lighting lamps at homes, regardless of caste and religious affiliations.

Natesan’s social media post comes a day after the Nair Service Society (NSS) revealed its stand on the consecration ceremony. NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair noted that any party opposing the Ram Temple event can be deemed as an entity working for their selfishness and political gains. According to NSS, the act of boycotting the Ram Temple consecration ceremony can be considered impiety. Every believer, regardless of their religion or caste should attend it, the NSS' release read.

Meanwhile, Natesan also shared the photo of him receiving ‘Akshatham’ (worshipped turmeric-laced unbroken rice grains from Ayodhya) from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workers, who visited his house in Alappuzha.
