As widespread rainfall continues across Tamil Nadu, students and parents are once again asking the big question — Will schools be closed tomorrow, November 20?

With several districts receiving moderate to heavy showers, uncertainty looms, though no official statewide holiday order has been issued so far.

Earlier, schools in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, and parts of southern Tamil Nadu were shut on November 17 and 18 due to heavy rain.

With showers persisting, many districts may consider declaring closures again depending on overnight conditions.

School Holiday Likely in Some TN Districts on November 20

While there is no official confirmation yet, schools in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, and Kanchipuram may likely remain closed on Thursday if rainfall intensifies. Students are advised to stay in touch with school authorities for the final decision.
