Close call in Farrukhabad: Private jet crashes after losing control on runway

Farrukhabad (UP): A private jet belonging to Jet Service Aviation Pvt Ltd crashed near an airstrip in Farrukhabad’s Kotwali Mohammadabad area on Thursday morning after reportedly losing control during take-off.

The aircraft, registered as VT-DEZ, veered off the runway around 10:30 am and crashed into nearby bushes. Fortunately, both pilots and passengers escaped unhurt, officials confirmed.

According to sources, the Managing Director of an under-construction beer factory in Farrukhabad’s industrial area was on board the flight. He had flown in to inspect the project site when the incident occurred.

District Magistrate Ashutosh Kumar Dwivedi said, “The private jet carrying the MD of an under-construction factory lost control during takeoff and went into nearby bushes. Fortunately, all occupants are safe and no injuries have been reported.”

Police and district officials reached the site shortly after the crash to assess the situation. Visuals shared by ANI showed the aircraft partially damaged and resting amid bushes beside the airstrip.
