Indian Army denies reports of ceasefire violation in Poonch amid Pakistan firing claims

Poonch, J&K: Amid media and social media reports claiming ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch region, the Indian Army has issued a statement refuting such claims.
“There have been some media and social media reports regarding ceasefire violations in the Poonch region. It is clarified that there has been no ceasefire violation along the Line of Control,” the Indian Army said in an official statement on Tuesday.
Earlier, reports emerged of unprovoked cross-border firing from the Pakistan side in the Mankote sector of Poonch, suggesting that Indian forces had retaliated. However, the Army’s clarification indicates that no official violation of the ceasefire agreement occurred.
