The Indian Army strategically released a powerful video showcasing its weaponry and readiness just minutes before it launched 'Operation Sindoor', a retaliatory strike targeting nine alleged terrorist sites inside Pakistan.

The video, posted on social media, carried a clear and assertive message: 'Ready to Strike, Trained to Win.'

The footage displayed Indian soldiers actively loading weapons and engaging targets with tanks, underscoring the preparedness and capability of the armed forces. Adding a dramatic and emotional layer, a voiceover in the background of the video can be heard stating, "The burden of my brothers and sisters' pain shall find you." The video concludes with a resolute message: "Always ready, always victorious."

Strikes confirmed shortly after video release

Almost immediately following the video's posting, news agency Reuters reported hearing explosions in Bahawalpur and Muzaffarabad, regions later confirmed as targets of the Indian operation. The Indian Ministry of Defence subsequently issued a statement confirming the strikes on nine locations within Pakistan.

"A little while ago, the Indian armed forces launched ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed," the official statement read.

India asserted that the strikes were a direct response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, which tragically resulted in the deaths of 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali national. Indian authorities emphasized the focused and controlled nature of the operation, stating, "Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution."

In response to India's strikes, Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General issued a strong statement, warning of retaliation. According to ISPR, India struck three locations from the air: Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad.
