IndiGo to start daily flights between Indore and Rewa from December 22

IndiGo has announced a new daily direct flight connecting Indore and Rewa in Madhya Pradesh starting December 22, 2025. This will be the first time any airline connects the two cities directly, marking an important step in improving regional air connectivity in the state.
The new route will be operated using IndiGo’s ATR aircraft, which are known for being reliable and suitable for short regional routes. This service will make travel easier, quicker, and more affordable for people living in both cities.
For Rewa, this flight is especially important because the city previously had no direct air connectivity. With this new link, passengers from Rewa will now get easy access to several major cities across India through IndiGo’s wider network. From Indore, travellers can connect to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Raipur, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow and more.
This will reduce travel time for local residents and create new opportunities for tourism, business, and personal travel.
IndiGo’s Head of Sales, Vinay Malhotra, said the airline is happy to launch this connection as Rewa becomes IndiGo’s sixth destination in Madhya Pradesh. He added that the new route will strengthen connectivity between smaller cities and support the airline’s goal of making air travel accessible to more people.
Rewa is known for its natural beauty, rich history, and cultural importance. The city is home to attractions such as Rewa Fort, Govindgarh Palace, Bahuti and Purwa waterfalls, the reclining Bhairav Baba statue, Deur Kothar Buddhist stupas, and the famous White Tiger Safari.
The new flight will make it easier for tourists to visit these destinations, helping boost local tourism and supporting the regional economy.
The Indore–Rewa route is part of IndiGo’s broader plan to improve regional air connectivity across India. By linking smaller cities with larger hubs, the airline aims to bring more economic activity, encourage tourism, and give residents better travel options.
This new service is also expected to help businesses in Rewa by providing faster access to major commercial centres.
