Caught on camera: Nurse confronts and slaps man for allegedly harassing staff at Dehradun hospital

Dehradun: A case has been registered against Ramesh Singh, a retired Army personnel, for allegedly assaulting and sexually harassing nursing staff at CMI Hospital in Dehradun.

A video of the incident, widely circulated online, shows hospital staff confronting Singh over his behaviour and slapping him multiple times.

According to the Times of India report, Singh visited the hospital on Thursday night with his mother-in-law and allegedly made offensive comments to a nurse while reportedly being under the influence of alcohol.

After the incident, hospital security asked him to leave, but he returned early Friday morning and reportedly repeated his inappropriate behaviour toward the same nurse, escalating tensions.

The video appears to show nurses slapping Singh multiple times, after which he apologises. Following the complaint from hospital authorities, he was taken into police custody for further investigation.
