An eyewitness to the Ahmedabad plane crash described a chilling scene moments after the impact. “I was at home when we heard a massive sound. When we went out to see what had happened, there was a layer of thick smoke in the air,” the witness said.
 

On reaching the crash site, the eyewitness said that “dead bodies and debris from the crashed aircraft were scattered all over”, highlighting the devastating scale of the tragedy.

Emergency services are currently on site conducting rescue and recovery operations.
