Technopark woman employee allegedly sexually assaulted in hostel; suspect remains at large

Thiruvananthapuram: A young woman working at an IT company in Technopark was allegedly assaulted in her hostel room in Kazhakkoottam here on Friday morning.

The survivor told police that the perpetrator entered her hostel room while she was sleeping. He reportedly pushed open the hostel door and came inside. The woman raised an alarm, prompting the attacker to flee.

The woman immediately lodged a complaint with Kazhakkoottam police, who have registered a case and begun an investigation. According to her statement, the identity of the perpetrator remains unknown.
