Court considered arguments as genuine in Sharon murder case: Prosecution

Neyyattinkara: Prosecution has said that the court has considered all the points presented in the court and accepted their arguments that this case is one of the rarest of rare incidents, said Public Prosecutor V S Vineeth Kumar. He was speaking to the media after the announcement of capital punishment to Greeshma, the prime accused in the murder of Sharon of Parassala, by Neyyattinkara additional sessions court.
"The prime accused has been sentenced for capital punishment along with a fine of Rs. 2 lakhs. Apart from IPC 302, the court also has given sentence of 10 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 lakh for kidnapping of Sharon with the intention of murdering him," prosecutor said.
“She will also get a five year jail term for poisoning Sharon,” he added.
