Uttar Pradesh: Days after allegedly murdering her husband, Muskan Rastogi was seen dancing and celebrating Holi with her lover Sahil Shukla, as per a viral video on social media. The duo reportedly fled to Himachal Pradesh after the crime, attempting to cover their tracks, before returning to Meerut on March 17.

A shocking video clip, now circulating on social media, shows Muskan and Sahil playing Holi, covered in colours, and smiling at the camera—just days after allegedly committing the murder. Another video from their Himachal Pradesh trip shows Muskan feeding Sahil a piece of cake, saying "Happy Birthday," and kissing him.

According to police, Muskan and Sahil confessed to killing Saurabh Rajput on March 4, dismembering his body, and sealing the remains in a cement-filled drum in Indiranagar, Uttar Pradesh. The crime came to light when Muskan's father, Pramod, confronted her and took her to the police station.

Investigations revealed that Muskan and Sahil reconnected in 2019 through a WhatsApp group, rekindling their relationship. SP City Singh stated that Muskan had been planning the murder since November 2023 and manipulated Sahil using his superstitions.

Police uncovered a bizarre Snapchat ruse, where Muskan allegedly created a fake ID impersonating Sahil's deceased mother, convincing him that her "spirit" wanted Saurabh dead.

Muskan and Sahil have been arrested and sent to 14-day judicial custody. Authorities continue to investigate the occult angle, premeditated planning, and possible involvement of others in the shocking crime.
