62-year-old man stabbed to death at tea shop in Kottayam

Kottayam, Kerala: A 62-year-old man was stabbed to death in a tea shop at Pala on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as P.J. Baby. Following the incident, the police arrested Philipose, a resident of Vallichira.

According to the police, the motive behind the murder appears to be a financial dispute. The incident happened around 6:30 AM when both the victim and the accused arrived at a local tea shop. The shop was rented out by the accused to another person.

A heated argument between the two escalated into a violent altercation, resulting in Baby being stabbed. The Pala Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
