PT Usha backs Neeraj Chopra in fight against doping; sends strong message to Athletes

Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President PT Usha has urged athletes across the country to draw inspiration from Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra and stay committed to clean sport, highlighting the long-term dangers of doping.

Speaking in support of Neeraj Chopra’s stand against doping, PT Usha said success in sports comes through patience, dedication and consistent hard work rather than shortcuts.

"Neeraj is Olympic gold medalist. When he comes forward for this... people, players would believe that one needs patience. You should do hardwork with passion and you would be able to achieve success and win medal. Dope is a temporary thing, but it impacts the whole life. It is harmful for your body also. We should believe the person who has achieved so much. We support Neeraj hundred percent," says PT Usha.
