Peddi enjoys excellent theatrical run, grosses ₹181.8 crore worldwide in 2 days
Ram Charan’s latest big-screen outing, Peddi, is off to a sensational start at the global box office. The sports action drama has earned more than ₹181.8 crore worldwide within just two days of its release.
According to the makers, the film opened with ₹135.36 crore on day one and added another ₹46.44 crore on its second day, taking the worldwide gross to ₹181.8 crore.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is set in rural Andhra Pradesh during the 1980s and follows the inspiring journey of a lower-caste villager who turns to wrestling to earn dignity and recognition for his community.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, co-produced by Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment, and presented by Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers.
The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in key roles. Music for the film has been composed by A. R. Rahman.
