Perched nearly 1,000 feet above sea level, a glass skywalk in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, is offering visitors stunning panoramic views of the Bay of Bengal and the cityscape below.

Since its inauguration in December 2025, the skywalk has attracted large numbers of tourists and local residents, quickly emerging as a major highlight of the coastal city.

The 55-metre-long glass bridge, located at the popular hilltop park of Kailasgiri, is designed to accommodate up to 100 people. However, authorities allow only 40 visitors at a time to ensure safety and a comfortable experience.

While some visitors confess to initial nervousness stepping onto the transparent walkway, many say the thrill combined with the breathtaking scenery, makes the experience truly unforgettable.

With its unique design and sweeping views, the glass skywalk is fast becoming one of Visakhapatnam’s most sought-after tourist attractions.
