Family narrowly escapes from king cobra

A giant king cobra was spotted at a residence at Kandamangalam here which was adventurously captured later by the Rapid Response Team (RRT). Snake slithered into the house of Hamza Musliyar near Puttanikkad Juma Masjid and was spotted in the hall as he exited the room after prayers. On being alerted, the Forest Department swiftly intervened considering the presence of young children within the household. The family said it was the first time a king cobra was spotted in the area.
