Tovino’s solo ride to worldwide box office: 'ARM' joins Rs 100 crore club

Tovino Thomas-starrer ARM, directed by Jithin Lal, has made headlines by reaching a remarkable milestone at the box office, grossing over Rs 100 crores globally. Tovino announced this achievement on social media, marking it as his first solo film to cross the 100-crore mark. The screenplay of the film is written by Sujith Nambiar, who is making his debut with this project.
ARM is now the fifth film of 2024 to enter the Rs 100 crore club, joining other successful Malayalam films this year, including Premalu, Manjummel Boys, Aadujeevitham, and Aavesham. Notably, Tovino also featured in the hit film 2018, which surpassed the Rs 100 crore milestone last year.
ARM is a 3D Malayalam film that has resonated well with families and children, much like My Dear Kuttichathan. Produced with a budget of over Rs 40 crores, it has received positive reviews worldwide. The film is brought to audiences by Magic Frames and UGM Motion Pictures, known for delivering hit films.
In ARM, Tovino plays three distinct roles: Maniyan, Kunjikkelu, and Ajayan. The cast also includes talented actors such as Surabhi Lakshmi, Krithi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, Basil Joseph, Jagadish, Harish Uttaman, Kabir Singh, Pramod Shetty, and Rohini.
The film's stunning visuals are captured by Jomon T John, who has made a name for himself in both Malayalam and Bollywood cinema, while the editing is handled by Shameer Mohammad.
