Did Tom Holland just confirm his marriage to Zendaya? Actor's comment fuels speculation

Months of speculation surrounding Tom Holland and Zendaya's relationship status have intensified after the British actor appeared to suggest that the couple have already married.
The discussion resurfaced following Holland's latest interview with Esquire, where he was asked about AI-generated wedding photographs that circulated online earlier this year. His response has been widely interpreted as the strongest indication yet that the pair may have quietly tied the knot.
Neither Holland nor Zendaya has publicly announced a wedding, but comments from both stars and people close to them have continued to fuel rumours that the long-time couple have already exchanged vows.
Holland's remark sparks fresh marriage rumours
During his Esquire cover story, Holland was asked whether he needed to reassure family members after AI-generated images depicting a supposed wedding between him and Zendaya spread across social media.
The actor replied: "No, because they were all there."
When the interviewer responded that they had not realised the wedding had already taken place, Holland declined to elaborate further, saying: "That’s all you’ll get on that."
The brief exchange has quickly reignited online speculation, with fans viewing the comment as an apparent confirmation of the couple's marriage.
Rumours began earlier this year
Questions about Holland and Zendaya's marital status first gained momentum when celebrity stylist Law Roach made headlines during the Golden Globes red carpet earlier this year.
Roach, who has worked closely with Zendaya for years, stated that the couple's wedding had "already happened" and that the reports were "very true."
His comments triggered widespread discussion online and prompted a flood of AI-generated images purporting to show the actors on their wedding day.
Zendaya addressed the AI wedding photos
While promoting her film ‘The Drama’ earlier this year, Zendaya stopped short of confirming any marriage reports. She did, however, speak publicly about the AI-generated wedding images that had circulated across social media platforms.
"I was just out and about in real life and people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real,” Zendaya said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's show.
She added that "many people" she knew personally had also been fooled by the images and were upset they had not been invited to the supposed ceremony.
Holland opens up about life with Zendaya
Although Holland avoided directly discussing the reported wedding, he spoke warmly about his relationship with Zendaya and the support they provide each other while navigating Hollywood careers.
The pair have worked together on multiple projects, including four Spider-Man films, and are also set to appear together in Christopher Nolan's upcoming epic, ‘The Odyssey.’
Reflecting on their relationship, Holland said: "Our business can present very stressful situations and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time."
He continued: "We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else. So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I ever have been when I’m with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period."
From Spider-Man co-stars to Hollywood power couple
Holland and Zendaya first met while filming 2017's ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming,’ where Holland debuted as Peter Parker in his first standalone Marvel film and Zendaya portrayed MJ.
Since then, they have reprised their roles in subsequent Spider-Man instalments and have become one of Hollywood's most closely followed couples.
The pair will next appear together in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ scheduled for release later this year, and will also share the screen in Nolan's adaptation of Homer's ‘The Odyssey.’
Holland also discusses Spider-Man's future
Elsewhere in the interview, Holland reiterated his desire to remain involved with the ‘Spider-Man’ franchise long enough to help guide the next actor who takes on the role.
Drawing comparisons with the mentorship he received from Robert Downey Jr. during his early years in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Holland suggested he would like to do the same for a future successor.
