Tom Cruise is a movie theatre popcorn addict, just like all of us; check out his quirky interaction with staff amidst ‘Mission: Impossible 8’ promo

“In a world where you can be anything, be kind”. —Unknown. Well, Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, who has various accolades in his kitty, including an Honorary Palme d'Or and three Golden Globe Awards, in addition to nominations for four Academy Awards, lives by this rule.
The ‘Top Gun’ actor recently visited a movie theatre to promote his film ‘Mission: Impossible—The Final Reckoning’. As a video of the star’s interaction with the staff went viral on social media, netizens went gaga over his generosity and simplicity.
On May 20, the official X account of ‘Mission: Impossible’ posted a short clip of Cruise engaging with AMC employees during a pre-release screening of the latest entry in the eight-part series. During the candid chat with the staff, Cruise can be seen eating popcorn in his unique style.
A warm gesture: The video shows Cruise having a great time with the staff while hogging on to a big bucket of popcorn. A staff member voiced her disappointment and inquired whether this was the final film in the franchise, to which Tom quirkily responded, "It's titled the final reckoning."
If you think the banter ended here, you are wrong. Another video shows Cruise walking past a movie-goer, reminding him about already eating all of their popcorn before the movie had even started. For the unversed, this is not the first time Cruise has warned people about finishing their munchies before the beginning of the film.
Here’s a clip from 2015 of Cruise warning people to hold onto their popcorn during that year’s big ‘Mission: Impossible movie, Rogue Nation’.
How did fans react? Fans were over the moon when they experienced such a benevolent gesture from their adorable star. Netizens were quick to take to the comment section on social media and posted their reactions. One fan commented: Tom Cruise is the only movie star we have. Another fan wrote: I love you, boo you’re my favorite person. You know that I love you just as much as I love our kids, and I’m so proud of who you are to me and in my life.
A user wrote: “He’s been making the impossible, possible for the last 29 years! I hate to see the series end, but feel so fortunate to have grown up on these films! I CANNOT WAIT for Thursday!!!”
