As the successful run of Marco continues, reports about its sequel are gaining traction. Speculations suggest that Chiyaan Vikram might appear as the antagonist in the film. This rumor gained momentum after Sharif Muhammad, the producer of Marco, shared a picture with Vikram. Dhruv Vikram, Vikram's son and an actor, was also present during this meeting.

Adding to the excitement, Sree Gokulam Movies shared another image on Instagram, hinting that Marco could become the highest-budget Malayalam film ever made. The picture features Unni Mukundan, Chiyaan Vikram, and S.R. Krishnamurthy of Sree Gokulam Movies. Vikram appears in the same outfit and setting as in the image previously shared by Sharif Muhammad, suggesting a coordinated meeting.

There are hints that the next part of Marco might be co-produced by Cubes Entertainment and Sree Gokulam Movies. If so, the sequel is expected to be made on an even larger budget, potentially making it the highest-budget Malayalam film ever. However, there is no official confirmation yet. The possibility of a separate film featuring Unni Mukundan and Vikram also cannot be ruled out.

Meanwhile, Marco continues to dominate theatres as a high-octane, action-packed crime drama. It has also achieved the distinction of being the first South Indian film to release in South Korea since Baahubali. The movie is set for its Korean release in April, across nearly 100 theatres.

Featuring a star-studded cast including Unni Mukundan, Siddique, Jagadish, Anson Paul, Kabir Duhan Singh (of Turbo fame), Abhimanyu Thilakan, and Yukti Thareja, along with several Bollywood actors and newcomers, Marco has been labelled Malayalam's most massive and violent film. According to theatre reports, the movie has fully met its massive expectations.
