Sherga becomes first-ever Kerala Producers’ Association woman executive committee member

Kochi: Film producer Anto Joseph has been elected as the new president of the Kerala Film Producers’ Association (KFPA) and producer B Rakesh is the new secretary. The decision was taken following the election held for the posts at the annual general meeting at Abad Plaza, Ernakulam. 

In a first, a female member was elected to the women’s executive committee of the association this year. Film producer Sherga Sandeep, daughter of Mathrubhumi Whole Time Director PV Gangadharan. 

“My victory shall be an inspiration for other women to enter the film industry,” Sherga Sandeep said.
