Preliminary findings suggest Vinod Thomas's death may be due to inhalation of poisonous gas

Kottayam: The investigation team believes that actor Vinod Thomas' death inside the car may be due to the result of inhaling poisonous gas. The police are awaiting the post-mortem report to confirm this suspicion. According to reports, the toxic substance released from the car's AC system may have caused the death.

On Saturday, Vinod was found dead inside the car parked in front of Dreamland Bar near Pampady. He had been sitting in the car and was found unconscious. The bar's security person informed the police, who, upon arrival, broke the car's window to bring Vinod out. Despite being rushed to a nearby private hospital, he was declared dead on arrival.

It is known that Vinod had activated the car's AC. The cause of death is suspected to be due to inhaling poisonous gas released from the car's AC system.
