The teaser for the much-awaited Malayalam film L2:Empuraan has received high praise from Telugu superstar Prabhas. The film, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopi, has created a buzz among moviegoers.
Produced by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas, Empuraan is the sequel to the 2019 hit Lucifer and is set to bring together an impressive star cast.

Prabhas recently took to his social media to heap praise on Empuraan teaser, describing it as "world class." Along with sharing the teaser, he wrote, “Take a look at the absolutely world class teaser of L2: Empuraan. Stunningly shot! Directed by my own Varadha.. Starring the one and only Mohanlal Sir! Wishing the whole team the very best!” He also included hashtags #L2E and #Empuraan in his post, expressing his admiration for the film and wishing success to the entire team.
Prithviraj responds to Prabhas’ praise
Prithviraj Sukumaran, the director and lead actor of Empuraan, shared a screenshot of Prabhas' post and responded with, “Thank you Deva, see you soon brother.” This exchange between the two stars adds to the excitement surrounding the film, especially as both Prithviraj and Prabhas are collaborating in the upcoming movie Salaar.
Prabhas and Prithviraj starred together in Prashanth Neel's Salaar Part 1. The actor's post comes at a time when audiences are eagerly awaiting the release of Salaar Part 2.
L2: Empuraan
Empuraan is set to be an action-packed sequel featuring Mohanlal, along with Prithviraj, Tovino Thomas, and many others. The film also boasts a large ensemble cast, including Manju Warrier, Suraj Venjaramood, Indrajith, Fahadh Faasil, Saniya Iyyappan and Arjun Das. Reports also suggest appearances by international stars such as French actor Eric Ebouney and British actress Andrea Tivadar.
The film has been shot over 14 months across eight states and four countries, adding to its grandeur and anticipation.
