Probe ordered in ‘Bandra’ review bombing

Thiruvananthapuram: The Thiruvananthapuram Judicial First Class Magistrate Court directed the police to register a case against the YouTube vloggers who had posted negative reviews against the movie ‘Bandra’, starring Dileep and Tamanna, within half an hour of its release.

The court has directed Poonthura Police to probe against YouTube vloggers Ashwant Kok, Shihab, Unni Vlogs, Shan Muhammed, Hijas Tax and Sai Krishna over the review bombing.

The private litigation filed by the Vinayaka Films that produced the movie stated that the movie was released at 11.30 am on November 10, 2023, and within half an hour, the vloggers started posting negative reviews, which was watched by 27 lakh viewers within three days. It also alleged deliberate efforts on the part of the vloggers to destroy the cinema industry and demanded a probe into the conspiracy.
