Actor Vincy Aloshious recently shared her thoughts on rejecting the film All We Imagine as Light, which went on to achieve success and recognition, including a Grand Prix award at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. In a candid conversation at a recent event, Vincy admitted that her decision to turn down the project was driven by ego, stating that at the time, she felt the film was not suitable for her.

Reflecting on the past, Vincy shared, "I rejected the film saying it wasn't the right project for me. Today, that same film is being celebrated globally. All We Imagine as Light is a beautiful movie, with amazing performances by Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, and others, and it’s something everyone has been talking about recently. I let my ego get the better of me."

"Maybe I was just a bit overconfident and let the film slip through my hands," the actor said.

Vincy also reflected on her personal and professional journey, acknowledging the lessons she has learned along the way. "I once believed that confidence and ego would take me places. But now, I realise the importance of having faith and prayer. There was a time when I distanced myself from prayer, and the difference it made was clear to me. When I had faith and prayed, I reached the places I was meant to. But when I stopped, I found myself stuck."

Her heartfelt remarks offer a glimpse into the inner struggles and growth that have shaped her career, and Vincy now stresses the importance of self-belief, humility, and prayer in her path forward.
