Is Nora Fatehi dating Yassine Bounou? Actor finally breaks silence

Months of speculation linking Nora Fatehi with Moroccan football star Yassine Bounou have finally drawn a response from the actor and dancer herself. Appearing on a recent podcast, Fatehi addressed the persistent rumours surrounding her relationship with the celebrated goalkeeper, making it clear that the two share a friendship, not a romance.
While speaking candidly about the online chatter, Fatehi described Bounou, popularly known as Bono, as one of the world's finest goalkeepers and praised his humility and dedication to football. She also took the opportunity to dismiss separate rumours connecting her to Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi.
Nora clarifies her equation with Yassine Bounou
During her appearance on 'The Kris Fade Show', Fatehi smiled when Bounou's name came up in conversation but firmly rejected suggestions that they are dating.
"Oh yeah. He is my friend. I think he is an amazing person. And I am sorry but one of the best goalkeepers in the world, which I am so proud of and I am consistently celebrating that.
But yeah, he is a really good friend," she said.
As host Kris Fade jokingly suggested that the pair would make an attractive couple, Fatehi laughed before replying, "Oh really?"
She went on to explain that her admiration for the Moroccan international comes from his performances on the pitch rather than any romantic connection. A passionate supporter of Morocco's national football team, she said she closely follows their matches and believes Bounou's goalkeeping ability deserves greater recognition.
"So I watch the whole Moroccan team play. But yeah, I mean, have you watched him play? Have you seen some of his saves? They're unheard of in the goalkeeper world if you study football. So, massive support for him," she added.
'Very kind' and focused on football
Reflecting on their friendship, Fatehi described Bounou as grounded and sincere, revealing that they share the same manager.
Although they had been aware of each other professionally for years, she explained that they only became friends recently.
"He is also very kind. I mean, we share the same manager. So I have known him for a long time vaguely, distantly. We only connected a couple of months ago," she said.
She added that Bounou's priorities have always remained centred on football rather than celebrity.
"He doesn't care about social media and fame. He only cares about his stats and how he plays," she said.
Actor also dismisses Achraf Hakimi rumours
Fatehi also addressed reports linking her with Morocco and Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi, saying the speculation caught her by surprise because the two hardly know each other.
"I actually never met him before. I just met him recently with a bunch of friends, like 'Hi, hello'. We have never really connected like that," she said.
Despite denying any personal relationship, she spoke positively about Hakimi and praised his contribution to Moroccan football.
Rumours had circulated for months
Speculation about Fatehi and Bounou has been circulating for several months, with reports intensifying after they were reportedly seen in Casablanca's Ain Diab district. Her vocal support for Morocco's football team and repeated praise for Bounou's performances further fuelled rumours on social media.
Neither Fatehi nor Bounou had previously commented publicly on the reports.
Bounou, one of Morocco's most celebrated footballers, has also faced speculation regarding his private life. Reports in Moroccan media have suggested an on-and-off separation from his wife, Imane Khallad, whom he married in 2016. The couple share a son, Isaac, born in 2020. However, neither Bounou nor his family has publicly addressed those reports.
