OTT platforms are offering an exciting lineup of films and series this week, ranging from high-octane thrillers to romantic dramas and post-apocalyptic sagas. Here’s a guide to the major releases and what audiences can expect.

Chatha Pacha

The Malayalam action-comedy ‘Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies’ arrived on Netflix on 19 February. Directed by Adhvaith Nayar, the film follows three childhood friends who reunite to fulfil a long-held dream of building their own wrestling ring. Their plans quickly derail as personal disagreements, political meddling and clashes with local thugs threaten to break the group apart.

The Night Agent (Season 3)

The political espionage thriller returns with its third season, streaming on Netflix from 19 February. Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) is on a new assignment in Istanbul, tasked with hunting down a rogue treasury agent who fled with highly sensitive government information. Teaming up with journalist Isabel, he uncovers a vast global corruption network tied to the Hagan administration.

Amos Alexander

The 2025 Malayalam psychological thriller ‘Amos Alexander’ premieres on Sun NXT on 20 February. The film centres on a crime journalist whose routine interview spirals into terror when a manipulative convict begins admitting to a string of unreported crimes. As he draws her deeper into a mind-bending psychological duel, she finds herself trapped in a deadly game of secrets.

Kennedy

Anurag Kashyap’s acclaimed neo-noir thriller ‘Kennedy’ makes its digital debut on ZEE5 on 20 February. After earning a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023 and skipping a theatrical release in India, the film now reaches OTT audiences. The story follows an insomniac former police officer drawn into a dangerous underworld as he searches for redemption.

Heated Rivalry

The queer Canadian hockey romance series ‘Heated Rivalry’ becomes available in India on Amazon Prime Video starting 20 February. Though not a Prime Original, the show earned strong reviews on its initial Canadian release. Directed by Jacob Tierney and based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels, the series traces an intense sports-world love story set against fierce competition.

Firebreak

The Spanish psychological disaster series ‘Firebreak’ (originally Cortafuego) debuts on Netflix on 20 February. Directed by David Victori, the survival thriller blends a race against nature with buried family secrets. Belén Cuesta leads the cast in a tense narrative involving wildfires, emotional conflicts and efforts to escape encroaching danger.

Raakshasa

The Kannada psychological crime thriller ‘Raakshasa’ lands on ZEE5 on 20 February. Set in North Karnataka, the story follows SI Hanmappa as he investigates a string of mysterious deaths initially blamed on crocodile attacks. His probe soon leads him beyond folklore into a disturbing web of human-driven crimes.

Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri

This romantic drama starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday released on Amazon Prime Video on 19 February. The film traces the relationship between an NRI wedding planner and an aspiring novelist who fall for each other during a cruise. Their bond is soon tested by family expectations and personal ambitions.

The Bluff

Priyanka Chopra Jonas stars in ‘The Bluff’, streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 25 February. She plays Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, a reformed pirate whose past resurfaces when her former captain and ex-lover, Connor (Karl Urban), storms back into her life seeking revenge and hidden treasure. Forced to protect her family, she embraces her ruthless former self.

Paradise (Season 2)

The second season of the post-apocalyptic thriller ‘Paradise’ arrives on JioHotstar on 23 February. The new chapter expands the story as Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) discovers that the world outside the Colorado bunker is habitable—and that his wife, Teri, may still be alive. His journey across a perilous landscape brings shocking revelations and new enemies.

One Battle After Another

The action-drama ‘One Battle After Another’ begins streaming on JioHotstar on 26 February. Sixteen years after revolutionaries humiliate an authoritarian colonel, he resurfaces as a powerful ethno-fascist and kidnaps his former enemy’s teenage daughter. Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Sean Penn, Regina Hall and Benicio del Toro headline the cast in this high-stakes rescue mission.

Bridgerton (Season 4) Part II

The second half of ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 streams on Netflix on 26 February. The four remaining episodes continue the turbulent romance between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie (Yerin Ha). Accused
