Actor and MLA Mukesh has responded to the sexual harassment allegations made against him by casting director Tess Joseph.

Mukesh remains firm in his stance that he is being targeted.

The actor claimed that political motives might be behind the resurfacing of these allegations, which date back six years. He suggested that members of rival political parties could have influenced Tess Joseph to bring up the issue once more.

"This is clearly a targeted attack. I have nothing more to say about something that happened six years ago," Mukesh stated.

"I had already clarified years ago that I am in no way related to that issue. Bringing this up again is very disgusting," the actor said.

Mukesh also added that he has never met the woman involved in the allegations.

Casting director Tess Joseph had revived allegations against veteran Malayalam film actor Mukesh, claiming she was summoned to his room multiple times. Joseph initially made these claims in 2018.

Earlier on Sunday, Siddique, chairman of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA), and Director Ranjith, chairman of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, both stepped down from their positions. Their resignations come in response to mounting pressure and ongoing investigations into similar allegations.
