'Selfless love for the nation...' Mohanlal's tribute to heroes on 25 years of Kargil victory | WATCH

Mollywood's complete actor, Mohanlal, shared a heartfelt post on Kargil Vijay Diwas Rajat Jayanti 2024, honouring the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation during the Kargil war of 1999 between India and Pakistan. This day is commemorated to pay tribute to our War Heroes, Bravehearts, and Veer Naris.

The Additional Directorate General of Public Information shared a video of Mohanlal on their official account of microblogging site X, with a note that read, "Nation comes together on ‘Rajat Jayanti of Kargil Vijay’ to pay tribute to our War Heroes, Bravehearts, and Veer Naris."

In the video, Mohanlal expressed his respect for the brave war front heroes who sacrificed all their all for the nation. "As we mark 25 years of Kargil Vijay Diwas, let us pause to honour the courage and unwavering spirit of the brave soldiers. Their resilience in battle stands as a testimony to their selfless love for the nation," he added.

Mohanlal, who was inducted into the Territorial Army of India with the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2018, took this moment to salute not just the army soldiers who have lost their lives but also their families who have lost their children for Bharat Mata.

"As a humble part of the Indian Army, I am honoured to join the country in paying tribute to the extraordinary humans...salute to our brilliant heroes and their families...Jai Hind," he added.

On the work front, the actor is set to debut in his first radio movie, 'Aiden - The AI Spirit,' which will premiere on July 19 through Club FM. His movies, "RAM 1," "Barroz: Guardian of Treasures," and "L2: Empuraan," will be hitting theatres in 2024.
