Heartwarming moments as Manju Warrier meets fan who moved her with tribute poem

The admiration of an ordinary woman from Pathanamthitta towards Malayalam actor Manju Warrier has turned into reality through her heartfelt poetry.

An ardent fan of Manju Warrier, Geetha (44), recently had the opportunity to meet the acclaimed Malayalam actress in person and present a poem she wrote in her honour.

The news of Geetha's admiration for Manju Warrier reached the actress through a social media post by Jithesh Kumar, a member of the Kodumon village panchayat. Upon learning about Geetha's wish, Manju Warrier's secretary contacted her, leading to a heartwarming meeting in Kochi.

Accompanied by Jithesh Kumar, along with friends Roopa and Jaya, Geetha met her favourite actress in Kochi. Manju warmly received Geetha's poem, titled "Poya Naalukal," and embraced her devoted fan. Geetha also expressed her desire to have her poems recorded and listened to, to which Manju Warrier graciously agreed.

Geetha, who holds a pre-degree qualification, has authored over 50 poems and dreams of compiling them into a book someday. She is a MGNERGA worker and lives with her husband Sabu, who works in construction.

Manju Warrier also promised to meet Geetha's friends and fellow workers who admire her.
