Mammootty, Mohanlal, Fahadh: Kamal Haasan presents 'Manorathangal' trailer
The trailer for star-studded ‘Manorathangal’, featuring characters by Mohanlal, Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, and others, was launched by Zee5 on literary stalwart MT Vasudevan Nair's birthday on July 15, yesterday. The movie anthology titled 'Manoradhangal', a groundbreaking web series featuring nine captivating stories penned by MT, is scheduled for release on August 15. This Zee5 original will be available in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Kerala, 'Manoradhangal' delves deep into the complexities of human nature through interconnected narratives. It showcases the contradictions of human behaviour and emphasises the human capacity for empathy and primal instincts. Marking a historic collaboration, this series brings together esteemed actors and directors on Zee5 for the first time.
Presented by the legendary actor Kamal Haasan, this anthology begins with 'Olavum Theeravum', directed by Priyadarshan and starring Mohanlal, followed by Ranjith's 'Kadugannawa Oru Yathrakkurippu' featuring Mammootty. Other segments include Priyadarshan's 'Shilalikhitham' with Biju Menon, Shanthi Krishna, and Joy Mathew, Shyama Prasad's 'Kazhcha' starring Parvathy Thiruvoth and Harish Uthaman, and Mahesh Narayanan's 'Sherlock' with Fahad Fazil and Nadiya Moidu.
Madhu and Asif Ali are playing the lead roles in 'Vilpana', directed by Aswathi Nair. 'Swargam Thurakkunna Samayam', directed by Jayaraj Nair, features an ensemble cast including Kailash, Indrans, Nedumudi Venu, Ranji Panicker, and Surabhi Lakshmi. Siddique, Ishith Yamini, and Naseer are playing the lead roles in ‘Abhayam Thedi Veendum’, directed by Santhosh Sivan. Indrajith and Aparna Balamurali star in 'Kadalkattu', directed by Ratheesh Ampat. This web series is jointly produced by Saregama and News Value.
