'What a graceful face!' New character poster from 3D film ‘Lovely’ released

A fresh character poster from the upcoming 3D feature ‘Lovely’ has been unveiled, showcasing actress Aswathy in the role of Grace. The film, which centres on an unusual emotional bond between a young man and a fly, is scheduled to hit cinemas on May 2.

Directed by Dileesh Karunakaran, ‘Lovely’ stars Mathew Thomas in the lead, with a fly animated as the film’s other central character. Blending semi-fantasy with emotional storytelling, the film explores the tender and unlikely friendship between a human and an insect, aimed particularly at younger audiences during the summer break.

The hybrid production, which features an animated character in a principal role, stands out for its genre-defying narrative. The film has already garnered attention for its teaser and first-look poster, which went viral shortly after release.

Karunakaran, returns with this innovative story under the banners of Western Ghats Productions and Neni Entertainments, produced by Saranya and Dr Amar Ramachandran.

‘Lovely’ also stars Manoj K Jayan and KPAC Leela in significant roles. The cinematography is led by noted filmmaker Aashiq Abu, with music composed by Vishnu Vijay and Bijibal. Kiran Das serves as the film’s editor.
