Lionel Richie hospitalised yet again, shows cancelled

Lionel Richie has been hospitalised for atrial fibrillation, leading to the cancellation of three upcoming tour dates with Earth, Wind & Fire in San Francisco, Chicago, and Columbus. As per , doctors are performing an AFib ablation—a minimally invasive procedure designed to correct an irregular heart rhythm by creating micro-scar tissue to block abnormal electrical signals in the heart. This marks the singer's third hospital admission in three months.

In June, Richie ended a St. Paul concert early after experiencing dizziness and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
