'20 years ago, cheating or micro-cheating was considered wrong...': Krithi on life and relationships

Actor Krithi Shetty is a revered talent in the film industry, acting across multiple languages, proving her prowess, and earning a wide fan base in a relatively short span of time. However, what has the internet talking now is Krithi’s candid talk on life, love, and relationships in a world of artificial intelligence.
Krithi offered her insightful take on the topic in an engaging conversation with Sudhir Srinivasan. "Maybe 20 years ago, cheating or micro-cheating was considered wrong... but today, it is as if people think that if a person isn't fulfilling you emotionally, it is okay to lean on someone else."

She noted a prevalent "YOLO" (You Only Live Once) attitude. Expanding on this, the actor said, "For example, if you act mean to someone and then you go and read a social media post saying ‘it is okay to be mean,’ then you feel like, ‘Yes, I did the right thing today!’"
The young actor observed that AI, in a way, is literally trained to "agree with you." In response, Sudhir Srinivasan echoed Krithi’s thoughts, saying that AI has this strange habit of constantly "validating" the user.

Giving further insight, Krithi said that after relying on such advice, if a person then goes to a best friend who might be brutally honest, there is a sad chance the person seeking advice will feel that the AI is right and their friend is wrong.
Sudhir Srinivasan agreed, noting that people these days are increasingly chasing the "feel-good" factor, and AI advice caters perfectly to those desires.
Speaking further, Krithi warned that if someone feels talking to an AI is better than talking to their partner, the partner will eventually give up. She lamented that if individuals turn to AI during disagreements, relationships will lose their honesty and authenticity.
The conversation has caught the attention of people from all walks of life, sparking further debate on the role of technology in our private lives.
