Sai Pallavi, who is gearing up for her Bollywood debut with the film Ramayan, is considered one of the most talented and bankable stars in the Indian film industry today.

In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, Sai Pallavi shared her experience of working on the intense shooting schedule for Shyam Singha Roy, in which she stars alongside Nani. The film required the majority of its scenes to be shot at night, a demanding schedule that left Pallavi both physically and emotionally drained.

Reflecting on the tough conditions, Pallavi said, "While shooting for Shyam Singha Roy, I would have been happy just to finish the shoot for the day. Most of our scenes were shot at night, and I’m not fond of night shoots. I’m someone who can’t sleep during the day. So, imagine being awake all night, only to be awake again the next day. This wasn’t just for a day or two, but it went on for almost thirty days."

During this time, she was also working on other projects. She recalls feeling overwhelmed and, at one point, even crying from exhaustion. "I remember crying at one point and thinking to myself, 'I want to act in films, but I just wish I could get one day off.' I never told anyone about it, but my younger sister saw me crying and went straight to the producer, saying, 'She is crying, and she just wants one day off.'"

Pallavi recalled how the producer was saddened upon learning about her struggles. The people on set adored her and often saw her as a "child," thinking she was comfortable with the grueling schedule. However, once the truth became clear, the producer responded with immense empathy. "He said, 'Take ten days off. Do whatever you want, and come back when you're ready.'"

The actress's candid reflections are a testament to her resilience and dedication to her craft, even when balancing the intense pressures of a packed shooting schedule.

Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi’s performance in the recent blockbuster Amaran has garnered widespread appreciation. The film is based on the true story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, and Sai Pallavi plays the role of Indhu Rebecca Varghese, a Malayali woman and the wife of Mukund, portrayed by Sivakarthikeyan. Major Varadarajan was posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra for his bravery.

Sai Pallavi continues to captivate audiences, conquering hearts and transcending boundaries in her ever-expanding acting journey. (With inputs from Agencies)
