'Malikappuram' team returns with horror thriller 'Sumathi Valavu' starring Arjun Ashokan

Following the success of 'Malikappuram,' director Vishnu Sasi Shankar is back with a spine-chilling thriller titled 'Sumathi Valavu' with Arjun Ashokan in the lead role.

Scripted by Abhilash Pillai, 'Sumathi Valavu' promises to be an exhilarating ride for fans of the horror genre. 

The plot of 'Sumathi Valavu' is based on a local legend from Thiruvananthapuram. Earlier this week, the makers released the title poster along with a teaser video at an event in Thiruvananthapuram. 

The film boasts an ensemble cast including Malavika Manoj, Syam, Lal, Saiju Kurup, Devananda, Sreepath, Niranjan Maniyanpilla Raju, Gopika, and Jean-Paul. Cinematography is helmed by Dinesh Purushothaman and editing by Shafeek Muhammad Ali. Sound design is by M R Rajakrishnan, art direction by Ajay Mangadu, costume design by Sujith Mattannur, makeup by Jithu Payyannur, chief associate director is  Binu G Nair, stills are by Rahul Thankachan, title design is by Sharath Vinu, and PRO is Pratheesh Shekhar.
