Excitement soars as Divya Prabha, basking in international fame, joins film starring Asif Ali

Divya Prabha has been making waves with her stellar performance in Payal Kapadia's All We Imagine As Light, where she starred alongside Kani Kusruti and Chhaya Kadam. The critically acclaimed film continues to garner accolades, including nominations in two prestigious categories at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards.
Payal Kapadia’s debut fiction feature has already made history this year, becoming the first Indian film to win the coveted Grand Prix at Cannes. The film has earned a nomination for Best Director, marking a historic achievement for Kapadia, and another in the Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language category.
Meanwhile, in exciting news for cinephiles, Divya Prabha is set to collaborate with Asif Ali in an untitled Malayalam film directed by Thamar KV, who previously gained recognition for his acclaimed debut 1001 Nunakal.
This announcement has created a buzz among fans, particularly as Asif Ali comes off a career-reviving year. His latest release, Kishkindha Kaandam, a blockbuster featuring an ensemble cast including Vijayaraghavan and Aparna Balamurali, shattered multiple box office records. Additionally, Ali impressed audiences with his performances in Thalavan, Level Cross, and Adios Amigo, all of which were commercial successes. His upcoming projects include the action-packed Tiki Taka, for which he is undergoing a major transformation, and Abhyanthara Kuttavali.
Divya Prabha, known for her roles in films such as Ariyippu, Malik, Thamaasha, and Take Off, adds further excitement to the project.

Last month, Thamar KV teased the project with a picture of the clapboard shared on Instagram. The film, which will feature Deepak Parambol in an important role, is set to be shot in Gulf countries.
Produced by Ajith Vinayaka, the film boasts a stellar crew with Govind Vasantha composing the music and Aeyaz handling cinematography. Additional details remain under wraps, but the anticipation surrounding this venture is already high.
