Mumbai: Things took a hilariously awkward turn on the set of The Great Indian Kapil Show when Rishabh Pant jokingly slipped a ring onto Yuzvendra Chahal’s finger during a light-hearted moment, prompting Archana Puran Singh to burst into laughter and ask, “Are you getting engaged to him?”

To which Rishabh cheekily replied, “Iski toh ho chuki hai pehle,” referring to Chahal’s past engagement. With a smile, Chahal added, “The engagement is now over,” subtly nodding to his separation from Dhanashree Verma. Archana chimed in, sharing that she'd been thinking a lot about Chahal recently, asking how he was doing emotionally. “I’m better now,” Yuzi said, prompting Rishabh to jump in with playful support:

"That’s why we have to be with Yuzi bhai. Koi toh saath dene wala chahiye (someone needs to be there for him)."

Archana responded warmly, “He’ll find many people like that,” a line that landed just as rumours linking Chahal to RJ Mahvash swirl online.

The teasing didn’t stop there. Rishabh joked, “Yuzi bhai stays in Mumbai all the time,” to which Chahal, laughing and slightly embarrassed, replied, “Cut it, bro. Cut this part!” The candid banter sparked laughter from everyone on set, making it one of the most memorable behind-the-scenes moments.

The episode, featuring Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal, Abhishek Sharma and Gautam Gambhir, was full of playful energy and unscripted moments. Archana Puran Singh, who was vlogging the entire day, gave fans a special glimpse into the action that doesn’t make it to the screen.

Navjot Singh Sidhu joined the episode and was seen warmly interacting with the cricketers. He had special words for the cricketers, calling them “the future of Indian cricket.”

Rishabh also spoke about his near-fatal car accident. He reflected on how the experience changed his outlook on life and shared that he has now launched his own YouTube channel.
