Lucky Baskhar’ is currently one of the most talked-about films in South Indian cinema. Directed by Venky Atluri and starring Dulquer Salmaan, this Telugu film was released in theaters during Diwali in multiple language versions. Alongside success in the Telugu states, the film is also receiving a positive response in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and overseas markets.

Recently, Dulquer Salmaan shared an interesting observation about director Venky Atluri’s appearance during a success celebration for the film. Speaking about Venky’s youthful look, Dulquer mentioned, "Venky looks like this little boy. My dad (Mammootty) is like nobody will believe that this boy directed the film. When you look at Venky, he doesn’t look like a director. I think he will have to wear a hat or sit on the director’s chair or do some cliche thing to look like a filmmaker," Dulquer joked.

The event was also attended by Nag Ashwin, the director of Dulquer’s Telugu debut film ‘Mahanati’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ and Hanu Raghavapudi, the director of Dulquer’s second Telugu film, ‘Sita Ramam.’ Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, ‘Lucky Baskhar’ is a period crime drama that continues to perform well at the box office.
