Director Selvaraghavan hails Malayalam classic 'Manichitrathazhu'

Selvaraghavan revealed that he has revisited its narrative brilliance on numerous occasions, estimating his viewings to surpass at least 50 times. Emphasising its enduring legacy, he hailed it as a classic belonging to the legendary reserve of director Fazil.
Acknowledging the amazing portrayals by Shobana and Mohanlal, Selvaraghavan commended their contributions to the film's success. He highlighted Shobana's well-deserved National Award for Best Actress, emphasising her remarkable talent, while Mohanlal's portrayal was hailed as a source of national pride.
