'Devara: Part 1' enters Rs 300 crore club in opening weekend

New Delhi: The Telugu film Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva, made a remarkable Rs 304 crore at the global box office during its opening weekend, according to the film's makers on Monday.
Starring Jr NTR, along with Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film was released on September 27. The official announcement on social media highlighted the film's success, stating, "A hurricane named '#Devara'… has wiped out every nook and corner with his 'X' style of destruction #BlockbusterDevara."
Devara is described as a high-octane action drama set in the lesser-known coastal regions of India. The first part of the film was released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The film is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, and presented by Nandamuri Kalyana Ram. The impressive box office performance indicates strong audience interest and sets high expectations for the sequel.
