Los Angeles: Hollywood actress Blake Lively, currently embroiled in a controversy with actor-director Justin Baldoni, has taken a moment to share a heartfelt tribute to her late 'Gossip Girl' co-star, Michelle Trachtenberg, who tragically passed away at the age of 39.

Lively shared her emotional tribute on Instagram Stories, posting a photo of herself and Trachtenberg on the set of the hit series 'Gossip Girl'. "This is the first day I met Michelle," Lively wrote, reminiscing about the beginning of their friendship.

She described the late actress as “electricity,” recalling how her presence always had a noticeable impact.

“You knew when she entered a room because the vibration changed,” Blake continued.

“Everything she did, she did 200%. She laughed the fullest at someone’s joke, she faced authority head-on when she felt something was wrong, she cared deeply about her work, and she was proud to be a part of this community and industry, as painful as it could be sometimes.”

Blake praised Trachtenberg’s loyalty, bravery, and ability to make everyone feel valued, noting that she was “fiercely loyal to her friends” and “brave for those she loved.” Lively further shared fond memories of her friend, describing her as “big and bold and distinctly herself.”

The actress went on to recall Trachtenberg’s fondness for details, remembering how Michelle would make her presence known with “her yummy caramel smelling lip gloss.” Blake revealed that Michelle didn’t just aim to shine on-screen but also strived to create a pleasant experience for everyone around her.

Lively concluded saying, “Time passes. You take for granted that you get the chance to see an old friend. To paraphrase, the real tragedies in life are the ones that blindside you on an idle Tuesday. Hold those you love and have loved dear. The world lost a deeply sensitive and good person in Michelle. May her work and her huge heart be remembered by those who were lucky enough to experience her fire.”
